Job Description


SUMMARY
Responsible for data entry of engineering inputs (BOMs, routings and labor estimates), and in the company ERP system, for troubleshooting complex change-control issues and driving effective resolution for the Change Control team, process Engineering Change Orders and manage the Work Order Hold process (in conjunction with Sales Holds). Assist Engineering and other departments as required for document processing, data entry and other document process related work.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Act as liaison to other departments for troubleshooting complex change-control problems
• Run reports as requested from other departments
• Write custom queries in SAP, as requested
• Coordinate special projects and improvements associated with Change Control
• Transpose engineering quote inputs (bills of materials, labor estimates and routings) from the Engineering quote template into the company ERP system
• Process Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)
• Work cross-functionally to physically locate work orders and make the required red-lines

• Work with Sales to manage the Work Order Hold process, by physically locating Work Order Kits that have been placed on hold and put them into the Hold Cage
• Regular and predictable on-site attendance.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Able to manually transpose alphanumeric data at high speed and with zero errors
• Excellent ability in Microsoft Office suite; in particular Word, Outlook, and Excel

• Able to remain focused to tasks through distractions and interruptions

• At least one year of experience in administrative/engineering support role or equivalent
• Excellent ability in Microsoft Office suite; in particular Word and Excel
• Able and willing to be flexible in work hours as required to complete tasks on time
• SAP experience highly preferred
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
LANGUAGE SKILLS

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
