Job Description

Position Responsibilities: Responsible for the overall global product and commercial strategies focused on the creation of value added systems through the integration of friction, hydraulics, and actuation technologies in relevant CBF core markets.

• Lead effort in the analysis of market & trend data, and make recommendations concerning product innovation strategy
• Assess and prioritize new market segments
• Identify gaps in our current capabilities and develop action plans to address them
• Identify and lead innovation ideas that align with the global strategy of our brakes and friction material business that will result in sustained profitable growth
• Develop and implement value based pricing strategy and support the sales team in implementation for the region
• Drive benchmarking of key competitors in each product segment
• Gather VOC (voice of customer) for products and solutions with support from sales team
• Implement a customer value proposition model based on market/customer segmentation.
• Work closely with sales and technical team to develop and launch new products
• Manage and drive high priority projects to completion while leading product launch schedules for the business utilizing the stage gate process
• Product portfolio rationalization, management, and gap analysis
• Develop and monitor metrics for opportunities, cases, and pricing requests via CRM dashboards
• Lead global product training for CBF personnel
• Support with trade show and conventions
• Provide leadership in leading product management team and mentor/coach team members.
• Manage portfolio and expenses within budget

Ideal candidate should present the following qualifications:

• 7 years of experience in a Product Management or Product Marketing role
• Bachelor's Degree (Business, Marketing, Engineering or Technology)
• Master's Degree preferred
• Global Mindset
• Comfortable presenting to a large multi-functional audience, face-to-face, as well as virtually
• Possess bias for action and able to excel in a fast paced environment and demonstrate strong multi-tasking abilities
• Financial management skills in building metrics around product portfolio
• Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse work environment
• Strong knowledge based of MS Office, Data analysis and web
• Up to 25% Travel expected
