FULL RELOCATION PACKAGE OFFERED AS WELL AS SIGN ON BONUS
Candidate should have experience in industrial automation, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Advanced knowledge of PLC programming, HMI, industrial controls, drives, and robotics. Basic knowledge of vision systems preferred. Electrical control design, and basic CNC, and CAD knowledge (AutoCAD) is desired.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in an automotive/industrial parts manufacturing plant or metal manufacturing environment.
Individual is responsible for developing and maintaining programs and hardware that is used in the production and manufacturing processes.
Develop, maintain, and test the devices and processor driven controls that will be used in the production processes.
Ensure that controls, programs, and mechanical devices are properly installed and used. Run improvement checks on applied systems for the purpose of developing production improvement initiatives.
Devise, build up, mount and monitor instrumentation and control systems that sense, quantify and run functioning processes.
Devise specification and in-depth documentation for designs.
Ensure that devices, instrumentation systems, communication networks and interfaces are working properly by performing regular preventative checks.
Run tests to establish if a system corresponds to the quality standards and then make improvements on the systems and devices.
Must maintain an entrepreneurial spirit, not to be afraid to take risks, celebrate successes of others, and take responsibility for actions and the results of efforts.
Confers with vendors to determine products specifications and arrange for purchases of equipment, tooling, materials or parts, and evaluates products according to specification and quality standards.
Plans, schedules and provides training for the department as may be requested or required.
Participates in and supports the company's Six Sigma and operational improvement initiatives.
Participates and leads Carlisle Operating System (COS) events to improve productivity and reduce waste.
Provides technical assistance to engineering, operations, and maintenance staff relating to plant process improvements.
Must be willing to travel as required to perform the objectives of this function.

Minimum of 5 years related experience (may include co-op or internship) in a manufacturing environment. Ideal candidate would have shop floor maintenance or technical experience. Must also have certification, or equivalent experience and knowledge, of electrical power distribution. Must possess strong analytical abilities and have the ability to multi-task.
