We are looking for an Analytical Lab Technician to join our Research and Development team in Carlisle, PA. 

The Research and Development Analytical Technician conducts chemical and physical laboratory tests to assist chemists, engineers, and production in making qualitative and quantitative analyses for research and development of products or processes. The Analytical Technician will also perform quality control testing on raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with established standards and specifications, in addition to other Research and Development functions directed by the Analytical Lab Manager.

.Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor raw material and product quality to ensure compliance to standards and specifications
  • Set up and conduct chemical experiments, tests, and analyses using techniques such as chromatography, spectroscopy, microscopy, rheology, and physical and chemical separation techniques
  • Provide technical support and assistance to chemists and engineers
  • Interprets data and adheres to guidelines on documentation when recording data
  • Develops technical reports or prepares graphs and charts to document experimental results
  • Responsible for equipment calibration and operation
  • Provide and maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or other related physical science discipline or Associate’s degree in Chemistry or other related physical science discipline with minimum of two (2) years of laboratory experience


  •  Minimum Two (2) years of experience in a Research & Development or analytical laboratory environment performing wet chemistry, physical, and or/analytical testing or Five (5) years of experience as a technician in any laboratory environment or college degreed chemist with no experience.
