SUMMARY -- The Administrative Assistant is responsible for defined work or projects with moderate complexity. In this role, you will follow an individual work plan and meets day-to-day short-term objectives and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

* Calendar management for meeting rooms and phone lines.
* Make travel arrangements and coordinates itineraries.
* Occasional planning, scheduling, and arranging business meetings onsite and at offsite venues.
* Process T&E card requests.
* Process new hire IT requests
* Scheduling interviews via: skype, phone, in-person
* Manipulating reports in excel.
* Primary back up to receptionist position. Includes greeting visitors and answering telephone.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality is required.
* Anticipate needs and accomplishes responsibilities with minimal direction.
* Manage multiple projects and priorities and initiates follow up to ensure timely achievement of commitments.
* Capability to look ahead and anticipate needs to ensure project or requirement is met.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word applications.
* Special projects as assigned.
Physical Demands

* Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear
* Frequently required to stand and walk
* Frequently required to sit for long periods at a time
* Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
* Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
* Specific vision abilities required, i.e. close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to focus

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Work is performed in a normal office environment with minimal physical risks involved. The noise level in the work environment is low to moderate. Occasional work performed in manufacturing setting with potential exposure to fumes, dust, noise and moving machinery.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

* Associates degree; equivalent combination of education/experience considered.
* 2+ years of administrative experience.
* Manufacturing environment experience a plus.
* Experience using Outlook Scheduling Assistant
* Experience scheduling travel, interviews, interview itineraries, etc.
* Calendar managment required

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
