The Systems Engineer plans, designs, and manages the lifecycle of an organization's information technology DevOps infrastructure. This includes on-premise infrastructure with multiple datacenters and integration with cloud-based architectures. Experienced in translating company's business goals and roadmap strategy; as well as defines an infrastructure solution to support that strategy. This position would be responsible for requirements gathering, analysis, architecture, design, planning, deployment, and third level production support of systems in multiple domains. Experienced with all aspects of the day-to-day administration, and activities that take place in an enterprise-class IT infrastructure department. This position will provide guidance, road maps, processes, principles, standards and best practices. They must be focused on enabling business and IT leaders to make investment decisions that balance and prioritize current operational demands, disruptions, and opportunities with the longer-term strategic vision of the organization


* Design and implement infrastructure DevOp solutions to support the enterprise infrastructure.
* Design and recommend selection of infrastructure technologies and services (Server, network, storage, cloud solutions)
* Leads technical initiatives, creates detailed project plans, road maps, scopes, timelines, metrics and reporting.
* IT Lead responsible for projects around a variety of technologies, is owner of architecture, design, implementation and creation of supporting documentation, including training for other support staff members
* Provides monitoring, maintenance and troubleshooting for various technologies and platforms
* Identifies gaps or issues with current infrastructure and develops detailed remediation plans
* Manage the lifecycle of various technical solutions.
* Produce and maintain relevant artifacts on technology infrastructure, e.g. run-books, processes, diagrams and configuration management.
* Develop framework that aligns strategy, processes, and IT assets with business goals in a cost-effective manner.
* Work closely with project managers, developers, and vertical teams to avoid redundancy, minimize expenditures and improve overall synergy within organization.
* Display and keep current knowledge of hardware, software, networking, applications, and systems technologies.
* Windows server installation, setup, configuration, hardening and administration.
* Achieve and report system uptime for critical servers or services.
* Manage various software, maintenance and subscription licensing and services.
* Achieve and report security and patch management to meet compliance.
* Perform routine Information Technology General Controls (ITGCs) and maintain compliance.
* Identify gaps in processes and make necessary improvements.
* Define and maintain accurate and timely reporting of various metrics.
* Achieve, report, and maintain compliance with Carlisle Companies IT policies and procedures.
* Manage backup operations for all division systems, utilizing either physical media or online storage capabilities. This will include servers and end-user computers.
* Mentor, coach, train and provide direction as needed to site IT staff.
* Assists in IT budget management and administrative needs.

Work is performed in a normal office environment with minimal physical risks involved. The noise level is usually low to moderate. Occasionally the job may require that you enter the production area, which you will need to maintain OSHA safety standards.

* Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university (Information Technology, Information Systems) preferred.
* A minimum of ten years of experience, with progressively increasing responsibility, in an IT development, administrative or engineering role
* A minimum of five years of experience working as an Enterprise, Infrastructure or Solution Engineer
* A minimum of three years of experience in IT Infrastructure working with Cloud platforms along with eCommerce environments.
* A minimum of three years of experience writing and defining IT Infrastructure standards and processes
* A minimum of three years of experience working with other teams and staff to identify the root cause of problems and making recommendations on how to avoid future problems
* A minimum of three years of team lead or project lead experience
* Deep technical knowledge of system platforms (Windows, Active Directory, Azure, O365), middleware, networks and storage
* Deep understanding of Cloud computing concepts and solutions including public, private, hybrid
* Solid understanding of security and practices, Network concepts and protocols, vendor practices, services and licensing/pricing schemas
* Ability to define standards for IT Infrastructure and to complete documented cost estimates
* Establishment of best practices and guidelines for selecting, developing, and implementing infrastructure solutions
* Knowledge of client-server networking and database management
* Excellent communication, presentation, relationship and organizational skills
* Knowledge of IT Service Management and standard project management (PMP, Agile) a plus
* Experienced and highly proficient with GPO management, Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), server and client workstation patching and vulnerability remediation.
* Experience in supporting a Cisco network or Palo Alto firewall administration a plus.
* Ability to define problems, collect data, establishes facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), VMware Certified Professional, certifications required.
CCNA or CCNP a plus
