Carlisle Interconnect Technologies (CIT) - Pottstown is seeking candidates to join our team in a newly created role, Supply Chain Optimization Manager. The Supply Chain Optimization Manager will be an individual contributor responsible for analyzing critical business data and turning it into actionable information. This position will be empowered to make strategic decisions regarding planning parameters and internal distribution network set-up through cross functional collaboration. He/she will be a "key" business partner in managing the forecasting process and supporting SIOP. This position will also help launch and support improvement opportunities throughout the order execution process.

* Collecting and analyzing supply chain data to formulate recommendations with focus on improved OTD, Process Efficiency, Master Data quality and control
* Coordinating with other professionals to implement changes and new systems
* Plan and implement supply chain optimization projects (e.g. inventory turns, OTD)
* Develop requirements and standards (e.g. packaging, procurement, delivery)
* Support Supply Chain Manager with supplier valuation, performance and benchmarking process implementation and control
* Help foster trusting relationships with business partners
* Collaborate with IT professionals to implement effective systems
* Track KPIs and report on supply chain's performance
* Assists the Supply Chain Manager in the Sales & Operations Process (S&OP or SIOP) as well as supports CarlisleIT corporate Supply Chain initiatives and goals.
* Responsible for key metrics such as On-Time-Delivery, Working Capital Turns and other targets-to-improve or key performance indicators (TTIs or KPIs). Reports status and improvement activities regarding capacity requirements, backlog status, order tracking and priorities, raw material requirements, shop floor reporting or other required reporting.
* Establishes and maintains departmental procedures and practices to ensure efficient operation and continuous improvement.
* Participates in the Carlisle Operating System

* Delegating and monitoring Supply Chain staff to ensure tasks related to improvement projects are delivered on time and meet quality KPI's
* Provides ongoing training and reference documentation to applicable staff to develop and encourage their technical and operational performance.

Minimal, but may be up to 15% travel required at times.
Qualified candidates must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident and be able to successfully complete a post-offer/pre-employment physical and drug screen.

The ideal candidates should have:

* Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university (Business, Supply Chain, or Technical preferred). APICS/ISM/Supply Chain certification or willingness to complete first 3 modules of APICS certification program (or equivalent) within two years of employment is preferred.
* Strong Management and Team Building Skills; minimum of two (2) to (3) years of supervisory experience is required.
* Strong materials management skills including various levels of planning from Sales & Operations Planning to Execution and Control of Operations/Production Activity Control, Transactional Management, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Warehousing, Inventory Control, Shipping and/or Logistics, as well as critical thinking and problem solving capability.
* Experience in Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement.
* Strong project management skills.
* Exceptional negotiation skills.

* Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

* Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as percentages, ratios, and proportions to job-related situations.
* Ability to define problems, collect data, establishes facts, and draw valid conclusions.
* Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
* Advanced knowledge of SAP (preferred) or other ERP systems, as well as manufacturing process and procedures, and the ability to share this knowledge with others.
* Computer skills -- General MS-Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills are mandatory; advanced skills in MS Office including MS-Access are beneficial.
