* Process directions for all shipment on a daily basis (15%)
* Process all confirmed orders/delivery (10%)
* Daily filing of shipment folders picks orders and creates BOL's (5%)
* Maintain and have all paperwork ready for Shipping Department (15%)
* Process shipment paperwork and enter into SAP (20%)
* Attend various meetings to provide input on processing problems and changes to process(5%)
* Housekeeping of Shipping, Office, and all other paperwork (5%)
* Assists Production Team Lead in processing paperwork and label creation (10%)
* Participates in meetings to review processes and problem solve (5%)
* Other tasks as assigned by Plant Manager (10%)
For this position, it is required to be able to lift up to 50 pounds. There is a repetitive use of hands required with simple grasping continuously up to 50 pounds. In addition, this position requires the following abilities: sitting, standing, reaching, bending, minor lifting, and walking.

The Shipping Clerk will act as a plant liaison with Customer Service and Freight Carriers regarding delivery schedule of final product. This position is responsible for processing shipping paperwork, identifying batch information for shipments, communicating with carriers and 3PL logistics providers and assisting in documentation generation for shipping and production.

* Education -- High School diploma or GED required
* At least three (3) years experience in an office setting and preferably at least one (1) year in a shipping, warehouse, and/or logistics-related environment
* Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite and SAP
* Advanced math, analytical, reading, and writing skills
* Strong verbal communication skills and experience interacting with all levels of employees and customers
* Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations
