Job Description



SUMMARY
Works closely with the Controller, all finance personnel, and others within the organization including the management team in financial initiatives and financial compliance. Takes a leading role in ICFR risk assessment, annual audits, and monitoring as well in the month-end close process. The position will support monthly corporate reporting, plant forecasts, budgeting and strategic planning activities to drive profitability, top-line growth and market financial awareness.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Internal Controls over Financial Reporting

* Manage the compliance to internal control policies, procedures and processes for the plant in compliance with a consistent framework based on COSO principles.
* Accountable for identifying and communicating risks and issues impacting financial performance.
* Responsible for timely execution of all internal control requirements including monitoring, PCB listing delegation/follow-up, and corporate reporting.
* Responsible for communication, collaboration, implementation and sustainment of all remediation plans related to identified audit issues.
* Quarterly report-out of ICFR progress, risks, and performance.
* Internal Profitbility Reporting.

* Responsible for preparing and managing financial and profitability reporting for selected areas of the business including but not limited to new product lines, transferred product lines, NPD projects, service revenue segments and/or wholesale revenue segments.
* Responsible for performing special projects to improve process efficiency and performance.
* Month-End Close and Key Processess

* Assist in day-to-day accounting within the team including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations and monthly financial close.
* Responsible for the timely execution of tax filings and associated reports/surveys
* Responsible for the timely execution of Concur expenses to appropriate cost centers and budgets.
* Maintain accurate records of fixed assets in accordance with company policies.
* Responsible for processing payroll transactions including journal entries and accruals.
* Assist with annual CapEx and Expense budgets, operational planning process and tracking to plan.
* Cross-train as backup for systematic reporting for coverage purposes as needed.
* Seek out and/or partner with cost savings projects and leaders to quantify savings opportunities. This may be accomplished using established tools in our Carlisle Operating System program or via other lean methodology.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

* 4-Year college degree (Accounting, Finance, or Business)
* 2+ years' experience (manufacturing environment preferred)
* ERP Experience (SAP preferred)
* Strong Excel Skills -- Being able to manipulate large volumes of data
* Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization (written and verbal)
* ADP System experience a plus
* Strong Analytical Skills

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must maintain industry certifications as applicable to position and value stream that is supported. Including but not limited to; IPC-WHMA-A-620, IPC-JSTD-001, IPC-610, IPC-600 and NASA 8739

LANGUAGE SKILLS
The ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. The ability to write routine reports and correspondence. The ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
The position requires the ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. The ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, rations and proportions to practical situations.
