SUMMARY

The SAP SD/LE Analyst will perform process analysis, solutions design, system configuration and support across multiple platforms and/or cross-functional areas in a fast paced global environment. This individual will work closely with the business users, other IT resources and consultants to meet required objectives.



ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

* Develop and deliver SAP Sales, Logistics and Global trade applications solutions to fulfill business requirements.
* Deliver project deliverables including blue prints, functional specifications, system configuration, test, training and go-live support.
* May lead fit/gap workshops and present system solution alternatives to business leaders and/or process owners.
* Assume the role of IT project leader, on small to medium initiatives, including technical upgrades.
* Review application code, documentation, architecture and development methods for quality and adherence to standards.
* Perform daily support of user activity including maintenance and configuration of existing systems.
* Perform 24X7 on-call applications support responsibilities when needed.
* Perform application changes as required to fulfill business requirements and in compliance with SOX and segregation of duties policies.
* Facilitate the execution of user acceptance testing by business users.
* Works with and empowers the super users in the SD and MM modules.
* Ensure change management records are adequately documented.
* Apply the standard application development methodology and assist in implementing sound practices within the development team.
* Continually seeks self-education to acquire deeper and wider knowledge in the area of expertise.

SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is performed in a normal office environment with minimal physical risks involved. The noise level is usually low to moderate. Occasionally the job may require that time in the production areas, which require OSHA safety standards and PPE requirements.

TRAVEL

Average 20 -- 30% travel for implementation projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

* Minimum of five (5) years of SAP SD/LE functional configurations experience with atleast 1 end to end full life cycle SAP implementations.
* Demonstrated experience with industry best practices and implementing these into SAP business processes.
* Experience in at least one end to end full life cycle SAP implementation projects.
* Working knowledge of other SAP functional areas such as PP, MM, WM, FI/CO.
* Experience with SAP GTS, ShipERP or CRM applications strongly preferred.
* Experience with SAP Query and Report Writer preferable.
* Demonstrated understanding and application of the functional and technical aspects of the analysis and design process and its associated documentation (ie. Functional/technical specifications, test plans)
* Bachelor's degree from a 4 year college or equivalent experience required.


CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Preference given for SAP, APICS, or other relevant certifications.



LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, write, speak and understand English. Ability to understand Spanish or Mandarin a plus. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and business users.



JOB SKILLS

* Clear understanding of Order to Cash process in SAP and integration to other functions.
* Proven project management capabilities with the ability to plan, initiate, monitor and implement projects within a team.
* Process Improvement and the ability to understand business challenges and have the ability to translate into solutions
* Capability to quickly acquire in-depth understanding of processes and of integrated and ancillary systems such as ShipERP, EDI.
* Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with business and IT globally
* Should have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
* Need to have strong documentation skills, ability to help train internal end-users in functionality
* Configuration of SAP SD and MM with some knowledge of FICO, PP and WM integration points
* Experience working with SOX compliant company.
