Job Description

Responsible for the leadership, strategic direction, and financial performance of Carlisle FoodService Products marketing and brand. With direction from Carlisle Director of Product Marketing, will develop, communicate and implement strategic marketing plans, orchestrate product lifecycle management including new product development and obsolescence, market research, product line financial analysis and new business development opportunities. In-depth understanding of food service/jansan industry, Carlisle FoodService product line, sales force, end-customer needs and distribution channels and the ability to develop and implement strategies within this environment is vital. Responsible for leading Carlisle FoodService Products brand to meet or exceed annual and 3 year sales and profit objectives while strengthening the business model competitive differentiation.
Business Leadership

Develop effective cross-functional teamwork method that delivers high quality product solutions in a speedy and cost effective manner.
Lead teams and projects for NPD and existing line marketing plans through meetings, reports, project plans, and personal discussions with key managers to attain agreed upon company goals.
Lead and develop strategic plan, operating budget and marketing plans for the Carlisle FoodService Products brand.

Product Line Leadership

Development of product line to provide industry leadership solutions and value for the customer. Monitor market, industry, customer and competitive trends.
Ensure product line profitability, lead SKU rationalization efforts, and support cost reduction activities.
Establish pricing strategy including list pricing and floor pricing for customer programs and items.
Develop sales and unit volume forecast for Carlisle FoodService Products brand and all new product introductions.
Work with sales, operations and forecast analyst to ensure optimum inventory need and product lead times to deliver required market facing customer service experience.
Develop new product and customer development business plans with cross-functional buy-in.
Champion of new product development for category including project planning, financial analysis, marketing communication and successful market introduction to customers and field sales force.

Marketing Communications and Sales Leadership

Develop high impact marketing plan and programs for the Carlisle FoodService Products brand to achieve sales objectives while operating in accordance with company branding and marketing communication strategy.
Work directly with Marketing Services Team to develop cost effective, impactful, strategic communications within yearly operating budget.
Point person for Carlisle FoodService Products JanSan brand with National Accounts, Corporate Accounts and Field Sales. Develop channel and selling strategy for commercial dealers, broadliners and distribution.
Responsible for orchestrating Carlisle FoodService Products training for company sales managers and field sales force.
Lead product introductions to meet specific product quotas
Utilize right mix of media tools to drive marketing program success including direct mail, website, electronic media, sales promotions, sales aids, and customer direct training.
Manage bid process and projects for product line.

Additional Responsibilities

Responsible for aiding in own self-development by being available and receptive to all training made available by the company.
Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description, and Supervisor's instruction in such a way as to maximize personal output.
Responsible for keeping own immediate work area in a neat and orderly condition to ensure safety of self and co-workers.
Will report any unsafe conditions and/or practices to the appropriate supervisor and Human Resources. Will immediately correct any unsafe conditions as the best of own ability.
Travel -- 20%.

Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business from four‑year college or university and minimum 3-5 years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
MBA in food service industry preferred.
Strong proven ability with the NPD (New Product Development) process and new product launch success experience. Customer experience and outcome focused mindset who can create strong value proposition and brand promise while delivering corresponding go-to-market structure to support.
Fast paced rapidly changing environment where well thought out risk taking is acceptable. Must understand scope of all Carlisle FoodService Products operations and exhibit the necessary leadership, business management and functional skills. Must have strong interpersonal skills, be goal and performance oriented and be able to set priorities, establish work plans and provide specific management feedback. Must be a team oriented, creative problem solver.
Must have strong analytical skills, understand P&L drivers and key financial metrics. Seeking proven experience in market driven leadership to exceed business objectives utilizing external and internal marketing/business metric management systems.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Possess strong leadership and management skills toolbox build confidence and trust in the Carlisle FoodService Products business vision.
