We are looking for a Pricing Analyst to join our SynTec Pricing team in Carlisle, PA. 

The Pricing Analyst will evaluate competitive feedback and market trends, in order to provide system package pricing while meeting company goals, objectives and profitability.   This position will be responsible for updating customer pricing within the SAP program and communicating this information to supplier representatives and other appropriate personnel.

Job Responsibilities

  • Offer competitive pricing to distribution based upon knowledge of materials, systems, and availability.
  • Manage customer pricing and discount structures within the SAP system.
  • Analyze material costs and profitability to protect the company’s needs and interests.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to procure competitive costs, availability and quality of products.
  • Communicate with Sales and Marketing managers to obtain regional feedback of competitive situations and general market information.
  • Provide assistance to customer service personnel regarding material or system questions.
  • Enter credits against invoice pricing issues and project rebates.
  • Create spreadsheets to effectively show competitive pricing structures.

Job Requirements

  • A high school degree or equivalent is required; a Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred.
  • Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in construction project pricing or purchasing with a Bachelor’s degree.  A minimum of 5 years of direct experience will be considered w/o a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Basic negotiating, multitasking, math and, computer skills including MS Office.
  • Experience with an ERP system preferred.
  • Candidates must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
