Carlisle Construction Materials Incorporated, a worldwide leading diversified manufacturer of premium building products and related technology, has an immediate opening for an Operator in Lamination in its Puyallup, WA location. This position will be responsible for operating or tending machines designed to laminate polystyrene blocks according to exacting standards of work orders.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Operate and perform basic troubleshooting of glue machines
  • Fabricate all orders to customers’ specifications
  • Set up, operate, and perform basic troubleshooting of laminators to include different machine components and ensuring that each machine is pre-positioned with purchased material
  • Follow daily work orders assigned to the lamination crew
  • Package and load all orders properly and ensure highest quality of finished product
  • Maintain accurate inventory of purchased goods and finished goods and keep everything organized

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School diploma or GED required
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to follow instructions and read production orders
  • Experience with computers including various manufacturing programs
  • Ability to use measuring gauges like tape measures
  • Able to work fast and efficient and willing to work long hours during busy season
  • Understanding of basic math, reading, and writing skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate

Physical Demands:

  • For this position, it is required to be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • There is a repetitive use of hands required with simple grasping and pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds
  • In addition this position requires the following abilities: standing, walking, lifting, reaching above shoulders, bending, and twisting.
