Job Description

* Responsible for transaction tracking/error control.
• Responsible for daily reconciliations of raw material, WIP items, and finished goods issued on a daily basis.
• Responsible for ensuring that products are correctly scanned and pallets are moved to the proper location for shipment to the correct company Distribution Center or directly to the customer.
• Responsible for reading shop orders and preparing raw material kits to ensure productions machines have the materials needed.
• Must be alert as to potential problems that may affect the quality of the manufactured products, such as improperly identified raw materials.
• Responsible for breaking down all cartons and putting in the proper place.
• Responsible for initiating work orders for any repairs required to maintain any equipment being used in the area.
• Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description, and supervisors instruction, in such a way as to maximize personal output
• The Material Handler must were eye protection at all times and ear protection when/where needed.
• Responsible for keeping their immediate work area in a neat and orderly condition to ensure safety of self and co-workers. Will report any unsafe conditions and/or practices to the appropriate supervisor and Human Resources.

• One to five years related expereince working in a warehouse setting with forklift expereince.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
