SUMMARY
The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager leads the annual budgeting process. You will coordinate and prepare financial forecasts, reports, and analyses in support of the CIT business, working across business functions in a comprehensive manner. You will have a great deal of exposure to senior management, with the expectation that operating plans and financial performance are presented to senior management on a regular basis. You will be working on a team supporting the commercial growth of CIT while assisting in the overall strategic planning process. Additionally, the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will be expected to assist with both improvements in information technology systems and acquisition due diligence. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

* Drive the Annual Operating and Capital Plans, and Quarterly/Monthly Forecast processes
* Analyze key Division metrics such as price, productivity, and inflation. Prepare Division bridges for all key financial line items, for both forecast and historical reporting.
* Support Dir of FP&A, CIT President and VP of Finance with the scheduled deliverables to and ad hoc requests from Carlisle Corporate including, but not limited to, monthly forecast reviews with the CFO, quarterly business reviews, monthly President's Letter submissions, and Annual Operating Plan as well as weekly sales update and month-end sales and EBIT commentary.
* Support product line reporting and work with product line managers and their teams
* Work with CIT Business Unit General Managers and Finance Leaders to identify and understand opportunities, drive objectives and address risks
* Lead, manage, and develop financial analyst
* Utilize a broad range of financial experiences by participating on projects that span across a variety of financial disciplines (e.g., planning, analysis, strategy).
* Assist with due diligence and integration of acquisitions
* Make improvements to internal and external financial reporting and analysis each quarter based on "voice of customer" input.
* Drive and participate in process improvements and Carlisle Operating System (COS) initiativesas identified and support special reviews.
* Streamline and automate monthly close and forecasting processes
* Appraise the effects of the economy and competitors on the organization's opportunities
* Analyze capital expenditures and other investment opportunities as requested
* Help drive success of business intelligence tool investment, specifically on integrity of data and alignment with organizational areas of focus.
* Report, forecast and analyze CIT HQ cost centers.
* Consult and support CIT HQ functions

QUALIFICATIONS

* Requires 5-10 years finance/accounting in a cost/manufacturing environment.
* Experience with ERP systems and plant metrics reporting.
* Continuous Improvement program experience; Green Belt/Black Belt Training and Lean -- Six Sigma experience
* Plant accounting experience; variance analysis, budgets, forecasts, reporting and executive presentations of results
* Excellent personal computer skills; ERP systems (SAP and Hyperion), Excel, Access PowerPoint, and Word.
* Experience with CRM and BI Tools.
* Experience in global business, available for overseas travel, strong cross-cultural communication and relational skills.
* Highest level of integrity and commitment to continuous improvement
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to deal cross-functionally.
* Excellent presentation skills.
* Ability to multi-task in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in the field of Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business. MBA is preferred.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Financial Analyst (CFA), or equivalent designation preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or environmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, manuals, and memorandums. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Ability to build and interpret various financial models.
