PURPOSE:

The purpose of the IT Analyst role is to provide day to day to support several US locations. This position will report to the Regional IT Manager. The IT Analyst's main focus will be the Jackson, TN facility with heavy involvement in the ERP system (Epicor 9) and daily operations.



Primary Responsibilities:


• Receive, prioritize, and respond to incoming request (calls and/or emails) regarding equipment and/or connectivity problems.
• Support ERP system (Epicor 9) including EDI processes.
• Assisting with document management and IT controls.
• Setting up and configuring new laptops and desktops.
• Installing authorized software to laptops and desktops.
• Ensuring security and upgrades are applied to desktops and laptops and kept up to date.
• Perform on-call duties, system implementations and upgrades that may occur after normal business hours and on weekends as required to minimize business impact.
• Administer and support desktop applications.
• Supporting and maintaining Microsoft Windows Server/Desktops.
• Assist IT Helpdesk and service requests as received.
• Ensuring full compliance with our IT policies.
• Manage tape backup and rotations.
• Supporting and maintaining printers.
• Supporting and maintaining phone system
• Escalating IT issues to the IT manager when necessary
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with both internal business customers and IT staff
• Support and maintain the various warehouse equipment relating to label printers, bagging, and UPS including the databases that they access.



Skills and Requirements:


• Education: Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Experience: 1 year experience is preferred.
• Travel: 10% to support 7 locations.
• Epicor 9 ERP system knowledge is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Time management -- the position requires the ability to effectively manage time and deliver quality results with minimal assistance.
• Ability to quickly grasp/learn new concepts and methods Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate to all levels of the organization.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong customer focus with the ability to manager customer needs and multiple work priorities in a fast paced production environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills required.
• This position will work both in a team environment and independently.
