Summary
This position will provide Generalist Human Resources support for the Jackson, Tennessee location, participate in cross-site projects and support the HR Manager and other members of CFT HR team as needed.
Essential Functions

• Provide HR counseling and consultation to site leadership and employees

• Coach client groups on HR challenges and employee relations concerns

• Keeps employees informed of general information, answers questions, and elevates employee issues and concerns to management or within HR organization when appropriate

• Maintains related HR records for the site while ensuring information is up-to-date and accurate

• Responsible for administration of employee benefit program for employees, assist employees to enroll in programs, disseminate information regarding changes, administer and coordinate open enrollment

• Administer performance review process for the site, distributes information and forms to managers on a timely basis. Follow up on outstanding reviews, including involving HR Manager as necessary

• Manage and track leaves of absences, including salary continuation, STD, LTD, FMLA and Workers' Compensation

• All other duties assigned


Minimum Qualification

• Bachelors in Human Resources, Business or related field
• 5 years of HR Generalist experience in a manufacturing environment or related field
• Experience with complex employee relations issues
• Experience with compliance with applicable employment laws and company policies
• Experience with Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualification

• Strong program/project management skills and business and financial acumen
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Uses good judgment sharing information and maintaining confidentiality
• Certified Professional HR (PHR) preferred
