Job Description

Provides Logistic services by implementing Logistic programs, procedures, and policies; monitoring Logistic projects; providing analysis to continually improve efficiencies and processes.

Job Duties:

• Maintains workflow by studying methods and current processes. Implementing cost reductions and developing reporting procedures.
• Creates and revises systems and procedures by analyzing Logistic practices and system programs for continually improve the efficiencies of the Logistics function.
• Develops process for team by providing information, educational opportunities and cost savings.
• Resolves Logistic bottlenecks by analyzing information, providing root cause analysis, identifying supporting, and offering solutions.
• Maintains rapport with internal and external customers, managers, and employees; researching and developing new services and methods; setting priorities; resolving problem situations.
• Maintains and updates databases for freight tracking based on required deadlines to present as needed.
• Provide liaison between Logistics, Accounting and other departments
• Create reports and charts from various databases for presentations.
• Responsible export booking process for Carlisle international Customers.
• Ability to take the lead on Logistic projects by engaging with internal and external functional teams.
• Provides information by answering Logistic questions to both internal and external questions.
• Maintains work operations by documenting and communicating needed actions to management for determining continuing needs.
• Guides employee actions by researching, developing, and updating Logistic policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines; communicating developments to management.
• Completes Logistic projects by identifying and implementing new technology and resources; redesigning systems; and making recommendations


Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business related field is required.


• Familiarity with Freight Terminology, Documentation, and Standard Freight Practices
• Experience managing policies and procedures.
• Ability to improve and create new processes.
• Data and Root Cause Analysis Skills
• Intermediate Excel Proficiency including Pivot Tables and Charting
• Exposure to Basic Accounting Terms and Practices
• Experience with NAFTA, Tariff Classification, Government Regulations is not required but a plus.
