SUMMARY

Ensure development, availability, management and control of CarlisleIT's financial systems and information, including enforcement of company policy and government rules and regulations as they impact financial results.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

* Manage development, administration and control of the company's financial plan(s), including corporate, departmental and key contract budgets, to ensure accurate, ethical, legal and responsive availability of required information and achievement of corporate objectives.
* Provide timely reporting of corporate, departmental, inventory and key contract financial information, including evaluation of performance against plan/budget, burden rates, risk and investment needs to the management team and other designated personnel.
* Ensure development and availability of responsive cost accounting and reporting systems for corporate, departmental and key contract use that meet the needs of the management team and other designated personnel. Provide specific recommendations for improved cost control and savings.
* Work closely with Accounts Receivable management to manage cash policies (such as credit and collections) and cash position of the corporation to ensure short- and long-term health.
* Manage the capital planning, budgeting and control system for the plant.
* Work with internal and external auditor relations that ensure accuracy and adequacy of corporate financial information and reports.
* Provide needed information and lead senior management staff in all aspects of financial/strategic planning.
* Provide a system of internal audit, inventory analysis and financial control which safeguards the corporation's assets and ensure compliance with corporate and government policies and requirements.

SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for the direction, coordination and evaluation of Accounting and Information Technology support personnel as applicable. Carry out leadership responsibilities in accordance to company policies, procedures, safety and applicable laws.Participate as member of factory management team, specifically by providing timely, relevant financial data for decision-making within the factory.Participate as member of cross-geographical CarlisleIT finance team, contributing on company-wide projects and serving as a resource to other members of the team.Ensure company standard practices and procedures are followed in connection with all Accounting and Office Support department functions.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

BA in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration; CPA preferable.Minimum 5 years in similar or equivalent position.

Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

* Must be a self-starter and able to meet duties and responsibilities with minimum supervision. Position is critical to the health of the corporation. Errors could result in significant monetary loss and hardship to the corporation. Dependability, accuracy and highest integrity are essential.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Work is performed in a normal office environment with minimal physical risks involved. The noise level in the work environment is low to moderate.
