Job Description

The Account Manager is responsible for attaining sales plan objectives. This position is responsible for planning and managing all sales activities within the assigned market base to drive increase in market share. The Account Manager will provide business intelligence and market direction by, establishing clear goals, strategies and initiatives.

Specific Duties:

* Develop and implement both tactics and long-term sales strategies geared toward greater market share and profitability.

• Prospect for new businesses channels to increase sales and market share

• Determine customer needs and tailor appropriate service requirements

• Aggressively sell the breadth of our offering and stay abreast of new product

* Define and manage Hawk Performance's value proposition to the market, customers and industry including service, price and product sales strategies.
* Work extensively with Director, Hawk Performance on development and implementation of market, product, and customer strategies.

* Develop & maintain assigned accounts. Obtain sales orders, and develop effective executive level relationships and broad networks of contacts
* Work with Hawk Customer Service to ensure service and fulfillment levels with customers are being met.
* Lead the review, analysis, and recommendation of new business opportunities.
* Gather continuous intelligence on the products performance, competitors, customer and dealer attitudes, new problems and opportunities
* Develop and maintain annual & running customer forecasts for financial, AOP, business, operations planning purposes.
* Work extensively with other roles in sales and marketing (analysts, customer service, and marketing) as well as other functions including R&D, operations, and finance to meet or exceed customer expectations.

* Work with assigned accounts to develop sales and marketing strategies tailored to each accounts need in order to grow Hawk sales
* Perform periodic sales and product training with for staff of assigned accounts
* Continually evaluate the timely adjustment of sales strategies and forecasts to meet changing market competitive conditions.

Education: Minimum of aBachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience

rk Experience: Minimum of10 years of proven sales experience in technical sales within the automotive aftermarket market.
